Golf Alpha Bravo, or GAB as it’s otherwise known, was founded in 2025 by Cliff Hawkins and Jeremy Bates, both long-term pilots with a passion for sharing their love of aviation as far and wide as possible.

Having previously owned a microlight flying school, Cliff felt there was a distinct lack of ‘next step’ options for local microlight pilots to upgrade their NPPL. Jeremy, a flying instructor with over 2,000 hours, agreed, and so GAB was born.

The aim of GAB is to not only offer PPL flight training, but to hire out the newly refurbished PA28 to pilots looking for something that’s a cut above the rest. A premium aircraft experience but without the premium price.
